The household ledger

Your household’s money, in one place.

Spending, budgets, investments, rental property, tax prep and net worth, kept in one set of books that always balances. Each person in the household has their own sign-in.

What it does

One set of books for the whole household.

Every account and every transaction lands in the same books, so your balances, reports and net worth always agree with each other.

Net worth & accounts

Bank, brokerage, loans and property in one balance. Net worth updates the moment the ledger moves.

Spending & budgets

Flex or by-category budgets, rollovers and left-to-budget keep the month on track without rigidity.

Recurring & bills

Subscriptions and bills are detected for you and tracked against what actually posts each month.

Investments

Holdings, not just balances. Time-weighted returns, allocation and a balance you can reconcile to positions.

Rentals & real estate

Every property is its own profit-and-loss: value, debt, equity, rent roll, income, operating costs and cash flow, by month — Schedule E-ready.

Goals & planning

Save up or pay down. Earmark money without moving it, with avalanche or snowball and a debt-free month.

Tax prep

Categories map to Schedule C and Schedule E lines per business or property. Estimated quarterly payments and tax-deductible tagging, with realized gains and harvesting candidates.

Privacy and security

Your numbers stay yours.

Households are kept apart by the database itself, every person signs in as themselves, and nothing is shared or sold.

  • A sign-in for each person

Everyone has their own username and password, stored with Argon2id, and repeated wrong guesses lock the account. Passkeys work too, with Face ID, Touch ID or a device PIN.

  • Households kept apart

The database itself refuses to show one household’s records to another, so a bug in the app cannot leak them.

  • A record you can trust

Every imported transaction is kept exactly as your bank sent it. You categorize it; you never overwrite it.

  • To the cent

Amounts are stored as whole cents, never rounded, and every entry has to balance before it is saved.
